46 Miles in 23 Walks

Oh what another great week it’s been

Getting to be with so many friends

Like Buckie the heeler with the tail of a Fox

46 miles in 23 walks

Monday morning as dawn was breaking

Goku the Akita my breath he was taking

Down and up Beaucatcher a couple of jocks

46 miles in 23 walks

Kono my neighbor a blue heeler he

No long walk needed just a poop and a pee

Then we watch Naked and Afraid and just gawk

46 miles in 23 walks

Then on to Tinker and her big sister Belle

We’ve walked them for years and we know them so well

Two doodles who have our hearts in a box

46 miles in 23 walks

Potter was next he’s the biggest of guys

Walking with him well the time it just flies

With a smile so wide and legs like bean stalks

46 miles in 23 walks

By now we’re at Buckie he was aforementioned

For walking the miles he has grown a penchant

Many spots on our schedule for him we do block

46 miles in 23 walks

And Goosie and Frida and Buckie again

Such wonderful pups who are all my best friends

The thought of a different life makes me balk

46 miles in 23 walks

Enjoy this glimpse of our day to day

And after you’ve read it I hope you will say

“Wow that’s so cool their life really rocks!”
