Buckie

Our Blog

Cattle dog cattle dog

Sheltered embattled dog

Now that you’ve found a home

With a new Mom and Pappy

Wanting you to be happy

Your new neighborhood we will roam

And although they were lucky

To get a dog like you Buckie

The tale of your tail is just starting

Now it’s time for the walking

And that’s not just some talking

Lots of miles on foot we’ll be charting

So when your people get home

From workdays of their own

You won’t be acting all crazy

You’ll be calm as a breeze

Feel at home with such ease

They might even think that you’re lazy

But we’ll always know

Whether summer or snow

Every time we come see you you’ll perk

For there is nothing realer

Than a wound up red heeler

Who hasn’t put in a day’s work
