Walking dogs can be easy and that's the hard part
You can take it cool and breezy 'fore your world falls apart
Just like Mike Tyson fighting Buster Douglas
Taking him for granted thinking he as above us
The next thing you know Mike is on the mat
And if you take this job for granted that's where you'll be at

Do the Duckwalk the Reverse Duckwalk
You can get a dog to follow you if they otherwise balk
Just get down to their level and begin to talk
And that's how you do the Reverse Duckwalk

You see you gotta be focused on the unpredictable
See it in your mind like you are mystical
So when it goes down you will be prepared
Instead of taken by surprise all nervous and scared
Paralyzes your mind and makes your judgement impaired
And whatever happens next will be your brunt to bear

Do the Duckwalk the Reverse Duckwalk
Crouch down and hawk treats moving backwards as you talk
"Want a treat my friend? Let's go around the block!"
And that's how you do the Reverse Duckwalk

Now some dogs will walk all the live long day
Encouragement not needed all you do is say "hey!"
Others walk pretty good some of the time
But when they start to get stubborn I just give them this rhyme
I say it's fine with me if you want to mock
'Cause I'm about to do the Reverse Duckwalk
